[BCMA] In Sight Arts Festival at Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse

IN SIGHT Festival... seeing a brighter future
Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites and the Arts and Culture Colwood Society present IN SIGHT Festival, 2022 this September 10 and 11. This event provides an opportunity for locals and out-of-town visitors to experience arts and culture through personal engagement in one of Colwood's most scenic settings. The two-day festival showcases local artists and cultural practices and is an opportunity for everyone to experience arts and culture through personal engagement.

On Saturday (12 p.m. to 3 p.m.): A special event kick off by the Band of the 5th (B.C.) Field Regiment,  RCA and Island Circus Space starting at 12 p.m. These world-class aerial artists have performed across Europe and America

On Sunday (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.): Attendees can experience local visual arts, including en plein air painters, local Indigenous artists and an art show.  Visitors will have the opportunity to contribute their own creative brushwork in composing an abstract painting! To add to the ambience, Colwood's own Chris Millington Band, will be performing in the afternoon, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Free admission on Sunday, September 11th.
