[BCMA] Labelling outdoor artifacts

Hi there,

 

We're wondering what are the best ways to label outdoor artifacts? We have
though of using aluminum tags that you "emboss" with a ballpoint pen or so.
But we would like to know what other places have done. We would be labelling
lots of farming, logging and fishing equipment.
