[BCMA] Registration Reminder & Bursary deadline: AABC distance education course "Introduction to Archival Preservation" (Jan-March 2022)

Colleagues,

Registration is open for the AABC distance education course "Introduction
to Archival Preservation". Students will be introduced to the concepts and
terminology in archival preservation and the best practices for the
preservation of paper records, photographs, machine readable records, and
electronic media. Students will also learn about design requirements for
archives buildings and storage environments, the exhibition of archival
records, and emergency planning. This 10 week course runs January 10 -
March 21, 2022.

This course is eligible for the AABC Anti-Racism Bursary that covers
registration and textbook costs for one Indigenous, Black and/or Person of
Colour (IBPOC) per distance education course. *The Bursary application
deadline for this course is November 1, 2021*. For more information and to

Course registration deadline: November 30, 2021

Registration fee:
- AABC members $350.00 CAD
- Non-members $500.00
