Join Us for Indigenous Art-Making with Lance Cardinal

The November Event in the Alberta Museums Association (AMA)’s 50th Anniversary Conference Series<https://museums.ab.ca/what-we-do/annual-conference/2021-conference-series.aspx> is just over a week away, and we’re excited to be joined by First Nations artist, designer, and entrepreneur Lance Cardinal as our host for the final social event of the year!

Tap into your creative side for this participatory art-making activity as Lance leads us through creating our own Moosehide Moccasin Paperweights. Participants will turn an ordinary rock into a beautiful gift or keepsake with some minimal supplies.

This is a painting project, so we recommend you dress in something you won’t mind spilling a bit of paint on! After you’ve stretched your creative muscles, get ready to share your artwork with your peers with some informal networking.
