Join the Conversation with our June Keynote

Our June Keynote with Lonnie G. Bunch III, Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, will open the Conference event with a conversation sharing his experience building and serving diverse communities through bold, visionary museum action and leadership.

Our discussion and Q & A with Secretary Bunch explores museums as places of collaboration that are breaking down barriers to accessibility and ensuring inclusive representation of and for their communities. Inspiring Alberta museums and their work of creating vibrant and engaged communities, a post-keynote chat has been added to the program for attendees to continue discussing themes and topics brought up by our Keynote Conversation with Secretary Bunch!

Get Social: Cooking for Victory

To close the half-day event, unwind with a snack-filled social event sponsored by the Canadian Museum of History and the Canadian War Museum. Try out your historic baking skills: get the recipe to make your own carrot and honey cookies, available in the attendee-only interactive program in the June Conference Event Hub<https://museums.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=fea986797f7331af112d717b7&id=1db8bb1595&e=4ae6ff439e>.
