Colleagues,

Registration is now open for the AABC distance education course "Managing
Plans and Drawings".

Architectural records are perhaps the least understood medium in the
archival world. There are many different types of drawings - from
blueprints to renderings, sketches to CADs. What should you accept, what is
valuable, how are they best preserved? Using the publication *Architectural
Records: Managing Design and Construction Records*, students will be
introduced to the management of plans and drawings over seven modules that
cover the history of architecture, appraisal of architectural drawings,
arrangement and description, preservation, access and digitization best
practices.

Registration: June 1 - July 31, 2021

Course duration: September 13 - November 22, 2021

Registration cost: AABC members $350.00 / Non-members $500.00, plus the
cost of the course textbook.

For more information about the course and links to register, please visit

eligible for the bursary.
