The Call for Proposals for the September Event in the Alberta Museums Association (AMA)'s 50th Anniversary Conference Series<https://museums.ab.ca/what-we-do/annual-conference/2021-conference-series.aspx> closes Monday, July 12! Join us as presenters and contributors: the AMA Conference program is built from submissions from you, our colleagues and members of Alberta's and Canada's museum sector.

Our September Event will continue our year-long exploration of the trends and priorities that are shaping the future of our sector. We especially welcome submissions with a focus on the Conference's guiding pillar of Reconciliation, and the innovative and community-led initiatives that museums are undertaking to move forward with this vital work. We encourage proposals from Indigenous members and cultural institutions, small museums, and professionals working in rural communities.

The deadline to submit your proposal for our September event is July 12, 2021.

Click here<https://museums.ab.ca/what-we-do/annual-conference/2021-conference-series/call-for-proposals.aspx> to view the Call for Proposals for more information about presenting during the live half-day event or contributing to the tie-in content that will be released alongside the formal program.

Have an idea for a proposal, but not quite sure if it will fit the program? Worried that your project is not quite ready to submit for the September Event? Submit as much information as you can and we'll work with you to finalize session ideas or develop your proposal for a later event.

We hope you will join us in September to showcase the work of the amazing sector we support, and the shared future we are embracing together!
