Good morning BCMA!

I wanted to bring to your attention some online events we have planned at the Fraser River Discovery Centre in New Westminster for April - feel free to share this among your colleagues or communities if you're interested!

  1. On Wednesday April 7th from 7-8:30pm, outdoor photographer Fernando Lessa will be presenting on his documentary project "Urban Salmon". The result of four years of photography and research, "Urban Salmon" highlights the existence and revival of wild pacific salmon in the Metro Vancouver Watershed! Mr. Lessa's presentation will provide an in-depth look into the years of hard work that made this documentary possible, and will encourage all of us to reconsider our place in the Fraser Watershed's ecosystems, which may be far closer and more fragile than we realize! This presentatrion will conclude with a Q&A session. Registration is by donation, and will include a link to the Zoom meeting. More info: https://fraserriverdiscovery.org/facesofthefraser/

Thanks all!
